Fall + Halloween Sweatshirts

We are heading to San Diego in just a couple days so yes, I am still 100% prepared to soak in what we have left of this summer. And not gonna lie, I am beyond sad to send Ava back to school this year. It’ll be her first year going a full day of school — 6 hours away from her :( This girls LOVES school and I know she’s going to enjoy every minute of being back and seeing her friends every day and making new friends in her new classroom but I really just hate the idea of sending her back. I want her all to myself!

But what I AM excited for is cold weather. Like I am stoked. This will be our second winter here in Utah and I can fully say that I am a Utah girl — summer year round in California just wasn’t my jam. I love sweatshirts and leggings and getting all cozied up and the snow is absolutely magical. I’m like a little girl on Christmas every time we get snow so yes, I will continue to soak in the last of the sun and enjoy those final summer memories we have to make together but I cannot wait for the next season.

We haven’t yet really thought about our family Halloween costumes yet but there was this one Halloween sweatshirt (Sanderson Sisters themed) that I really wanted last year but it sold out before I could snag it. So this year, I remember and ordered it a couple weeks ago - yes, in July. Not mad about it because it is so darn cozy!
